The luckiest Bloemfontein Celtic card-carrying supporter stands a chance of driving away in a brand new Chevrolet Utility in the Chevrolet-Celtic Bakkie Competition, thanks to a partnership between the Free State side and Imperial General Motors Bloemfontein.

The two companies jointly announced their partnership in the Free State capital.

To enter the competition, supporters should have a valid Bloemfontein Celtic supporters membership. Those who are not registered members of the Bloemfontein Celtic Supporters Club should join as soon as possible to be eligible to enter this exciting competition. Once they have done so they must sms “Chev Ute Force” to 33740 and they will be automatically entered into the draw. SMSs will be charged at R1.50 per entry. Supporters may enter as many times as they like to increase their chances of winning.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Bloemfontein Celtic for this competition. We are going to sponsor two cars to the club – one will be won by the luckiest supporter and the other will be used by the club,” Henry Roux, Dealer Principal at Imperial GM Bloemfontein, told bloemfonteincelticfc.co.za.

”Supporters are powerful; they drive hundreds of kilometres to follow their team and watch them in the hot African sun and rain. This is a partnership for them. Imperial General Motors and Bloemfontein Celtic want to unite the club’s supporters throughout South Africa. We all know that Celtic are what they are today because of Siwelele Sa Masele (their supporters). So we want to change a life of the luckiest supporter who drive away with a brand new Chevrolet Utility bakkie,” he added.

Meanwhile, Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco, expressed his happiness about the partnership.

“This is a great partnership between two great giants who are merging at Church Street (Imperial GM Bloemfontein offices). This partnership will go beyond the draw date; and it will carry on for the next four years. When we started with a new structure for the supporters club we told our supporters to expect greater things to come, and this is only the beginning of greater things to come. Many thanks to the sponsors for this wonderful competition. We are really proud of the association,” he said.

The draw will be made at Imperial General Motors Bloemfontein on Friday, 30 November 2012.
