Earlier in the week Mark Mayambela joined Pirates after requesting to be put on the transfer list, but that deal is pending the medical tests to be conducted by Celtic on Bennett Chenene. The three players on the current transfer list are Moses Spandeel, Moketi Tsotsetsi and Darryl Smith.

Celtic’s preparations are looking good and the new signings have fitted in well. They will be tested as early as this weekend when the team defends their title in the Old Mutual Mangaung Cup on Sunday.

Celtic will play in the second semifinal against Moroka Swallows, with Free State Stars and Ajax playing each other in the first.
