Falcons go headlong for women’s title on SuperSport

SuperSport will follow every match of Nigeria’s Super Falcons as they seek to win a sixth African title at the 2010 Caf Women’s Championship in South Africa from November 1.

The Super Falcons will begin their account in the African Women’s Championship (AWC) against their Malian counterparts in Sinaba on SuperSport 3 Nigeria and SuperSport 9 live from 3.15pm.

The World of Champions will continue its coverage of the Nigerians with the best match of the preliminary round when they face South Africa on November 4 live on SuperSport 3 Nigeria and SuperSport 9 from 10.45am.

The Falcons’ last game in Group A will be against Tanzania live on SuperSport 9 from 3.15pm.

Eucharia Uche, coach of the Super Falcons, says that her team is well set for their opener against Mali, and will only talk about their subsequent next games against South Africa and Tanzania after their first game.

With the women’s championship set to kick off on Sunday, SuperSport will broadcast the action involving the stars of Falcons such as Precious Dede, Onome Ebi, Perpetua Nkwocha, Rita Chikwelu, Amarachi Okoronkwo, Ngozi Okobi, Ebere Orji, Ugochi Oparanozie, Francisca Odega and Lovett Ayila to its Nigerian viewers until November 14.
