Bernard Ogbe joins Gombe United

Experienced tactician, Bernard Ogbe, has joined Gombe United to pilot technical affairs at the club.

“I resumed on Tuesday and I intend to do my best here like I’ve done at my other clubs. We will begin the season with a home match against Heartland,” Ogbe told SuperSport.com

Interestingly, Ogbe and Heartland manager, Samson Siasia, who was named Super Eagles coach, on Thursday, worked together at JUTH.

Ogbe has a track record as one of Nigeria’s best tacticians. He has coached teams like defunct Nigerdock, Plateau United, Mighty Jets, Adamawa United, JUTH, Niger Tornadoes and Enyimba amongst others.

The Benue State-born coach worked at Akwa United last season.

As a result of the non-approval of their homeground by the NPL, Ogbe’s Gombe United will play their home matches in neighbouring Bauchi.
