Gordinho and Masuku raring to go

Bloemfontein Celtic ‘s two new acquisitions, Menzi Masuku and Lorenzo Gordinho, are both excited for having joined Siwelele and are impatiently looking forward to the reception from the multitudes of Celtic supporters.

In their first interview with the club’s media team, they both shared their determination to add value and subsequently help the brand grow.

“I am very excited about the move, we all know that the team has exceptional supporters and my decision to come was influenced by the fact that I will be appreciated by both management and most importantly the exciting supporters,” commented Masuku about his move from Port Elizabeth to Bloemfontein.

Masuku also emphasised that fighting for his position will be a priority “I am here to revive my career and blossom in a team that plays the style of football that suites me perfectly. The warm welcome that I received since my arrival proves the kind of unity and comradeship one has to align himself with. There are a lot of great players here and it’s a great feeling to immediately feel at home.”

Lorenzo shared Menzi’s sentiments and added: “I think the team is sitting in a good position currently even though there is room for improvement and with just few hours at training I have already detected that fighting spirit and zeal to win.”

“You see no player can claim he does not want to play for the Celtic Brand if you look at the fan base. At training, I scored a goal with a header was celebrating greatly imagining that the fans were signing my name loud already. Trust me, I can’t wait for my first game here (at Molemela Stadium). I am not even sure if I will be able to sleep till I get the chance to contribute” concluded Gordinho who has signed for Celtic on a 1-year loan.

Celtic hosts Arrows on Sunday (07 Jan 2017) and both players have put their hands up to be part of the 18 man squad to play at Molemela Stadium.
